I became well versed in grief at a very young age, which led me to question what it is to lose people and how to honor them as I live on. My creations are where I work through how people have changed me, for better or worse, and how losing them has shaped that change. I aim to recreate the nuanced, nauseating, and disorienting sensation of loss through a mixture of photography, drawing, painting, and lace work. Originally from the Southeast, I received a BA in Traditional Animation in 2020 from Columbia College Chicago, and I currently reside in Los Angeles.
